Student Organization Leadership Development

Student organizations are an important part of the Nebraska Engineering experience. They give engineering students a platform to apply the concepts learned inside of the classroom in a real-world setting. As a member of a registered engineering student organization, you have access to an exclusive leadership development coaching service that can help make your organization great.

By taking advantage of this service, you will…

1) Learn how to recruit new members
Recruiting new members can be difficult, especially without a plan or understanding of who you want and why you want them. By taking advantage of this session, you will have opportunity to: Determine why your membership numbers are low and the kind of members you want to recruit. Develop a personalized recruitment and marketing plan for your student organization. And more!

2) Get more funding for your student organization
Let’s face it, operating a student organization is expensive. Paying for programs, trips, and professional development can cost a lot of money over an academic year.
